Additionally, CWC has been reaching to touch the hearts of some of the most needy in our own community, by raising up and sending ministers of the gospel into our jails. This is powerfully led by Rev. Vonna Ossenbeck. You may seek her out to learn what is required to be a part of this outreach.
Cornerstone Outreach Center is an extension of the church’s missions vision and is in its 21st year feeding and caring for the poor in Amarillo. Each Friday hundreds are ministered to when they hear the gospel preached and receive much needed groceries. We feed and help over 26,000 people in each year, reaping many souls for the Kingdom, seeing many healed and set free. We can also provide prayer support and some pastoral counseling. We have employment counselors available, as well. For more information, click here. You may also see Kay Cross to volunteer.

Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a true priority at Cornerstone Worship Center. We have a mandate from the Lord. He has instructed us to “noise abroad” the miraculous things He has been doing in our midst. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. On our Media Page, you can find access to our YouTube Channel and our directory of uploaded Sermon podcasts. We are now streaming live video of our services to the internet via Facebook and YouTube, as well as providing archived videos of our services there. These videos are also being picked up by a sister ministry with whom we partner in Uganda and broadcast over the air from their television network. We maintain an active Facebook Page, and there you can find additional church communication and the most up to date happenings in the life of our community of brethren, as well as this website. Access to our Mobile App may be found on this website’s homepage, as well as in your favorite app store. With all of our dreams for media ministry, we are going to need a lot of help. If you have background and experience in media and technology, we have a place for you. Contact Pastor Joe Kirkwood or Pastor Tim Elliott.
Prayer Warriors
The importance of prayer cannot be overstated. Faith through prayer moves the hand of God. Cornerstone Worship Center is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereign power released through prayer. Each Sunday at 9:00am, prior to the morning service, Wednesdays at 6:00pm and on Thursdays at Noon, a team of volunteers are praying for the ministry of the Word, the move of God’s Holy Spirit in our church family, as well as, in our our community, nation and around the world. We invite you to join them. Additionally, throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team, pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
